Club receives congratulations from GAA executive

Below is an email from Croke Park sent to Glaschu Gaels on the eve of our tenth anniversary

Uachtaran Nickey Brennan and myself wish to congratulate you all on what your Club has achieved over the last 10 years in Glasgow.

The work that you are doing to promote our games in Glasgow is mush appreciated by all concerned back home in Ireland. We understand from our conversations that you are expecting up to 150 at your dinner in the Thistle Hotel so we wish you all a very enjoyable night. Will you also pass on our sincere congratulations to your two sucessful teams that are receiving medals tonight. We note also that you are displaying your Clubs wider history over the last 10 years and we hope that it will bring back fond memories to your older members.

It is good to see that you have embraced the Ladies into the Glasgow Gaels GAA Club and we send on our good wishes to the Ladies also.

We reget that we are unable to share in the celebrations with you all tonight but perhaps the opportunity might arise again in the future.

With every good wishes.
